KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Quick, look outside and jot down what color the grass is.
You might not be able to see what color it is due to the snow cover, but even if you could, it’s not going to be as green as the field at Arrowhead Stadium.
For the second week in a row, Chiefs’ head groundskeeper Travis Hogan’s crew re-sodded a portion of Arrowhead Stadium.
Hogan tweeted the final product Thursday night.
We weren’t planning on a resod this week, but Mother Nature had other plans. 10 inches of snow and all the snow in the stadium being hauled out on the sidelines changed things. My crew did an unbelievable job. They are the BEST! Everyone is tired but we are ready. Let’s Roll! pic.twitter.com/uoRZOAcEst

Since the Midwest isn’t the best place to grow sod in January, the Chiefs have the sod brought in from a sod farm outside of Charlotte, North Carolina.
