KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Royals outfielder Alex Gordon escaped serious injury over the weekend after colliding with a deer in Kansas City, Kansas.
The deer wasn’t as fortunate.
Kansas City, Kansas Police Chief Terry Zeigler posted on Instagram Monday morning about the incident, which happed Sunday near Interstate 635 and K-5 Highway.
