Global superstar and questionable haircut-haver Justin Bieber probably isn't used to sharing the spotlight, but Eric Hosmer drew a screaming crowd of his own on his way out of the pop prince's concert Wednesday night.
Hosmer, who attended the concert with several fellow Royals players, was captured on video being mobbed by a crowd of adoring, screaming, selfie-snapping fans who would probably intimidate even Bieber with the intensity of their affection.

"We sent Hosmer first out of the concert and we kind of followed behind him, and he took all the heat," joked fellow Royals player Alex Gordon. "He took one for the team."

If the videos are any indication, Hosmer was a good sport about the overwhelming tide of fan love. After last year's World Series victory parade, any crowd of less than 800,000 must seem tiny.
