The Kansas City Royals announced there will be a special "Take the Crown" postseason rally at Kauffman Stadium on Tuesday, Oct. 6.

FOX Sports Kansas City’s Ryan Lefebvre and Rex Hudler will host the event and be joined on the field by General Manager Dayton Moore, Manager Ned Yost and select Royals players. Sluggerrr and the KCrew will also be on hand to entertain fans, distribute Royals prizes and more, according to a Royals news release.
Additionally, the Royals said the Majestic Team Store will be open for fans to purchase official Royals postseason merchandise. Fans can also stop by Royals Authentics for Major League Baseball authenticated items, including game-used bats, baseballs, jerseys, batting gloves and more used by the playoff-bound 2015 Royals. Select concessions will also be available.
Fans will also be able to watch the Royals take batting practice and listen to player interviews while the team prepares for the American League Division Series.
All gates to the Truman Sports Complex will open at 10 a.m. The rally starts at 12:15 p.m., and batting practice and player interviews will go from 1 to 2:15 p.m. Following the event, the Royals are asking fans to exit the stadium by 2:30 p.m.
