KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Mike Moustakas has reportedly signed a one-year deal with the Kansas City Royals.
Yahoo Sports Reporter Jeff Passan broke the news on Twitter, citing anonymous sources. Passan said the deal is just for one year with a mutual second-year option. The third baseman is guaranteed $6.5 million but could earn up to $22.7 million.

An MLB.com reporter said on Twitter that the team is working on deal with the third baseman.

Rustin Dodd with the AthleticKC also reported the news and said the team isn't looking to go longer than a one-year deal.
