Get ready, Royals fans!
Single game tickets for the Kansas City Royals 2016 season, excluding Opening Night, will go on sale exclusively at royals.com to the public Friday, Feb. 26 at 10 a.m.
According to a news release from the Royals, here’s what you need to know before you buy online:
- They expect high volume during this sale, so be prepared for longer-than-normal wait times.
- If you wish to purchase tickets to more than one game, you will need to use the “Add Another Event” button.
The news release also notes that you must enter the Opening Night Ticket Opportunity to win the chance to buy tickets for the Royals vs. Mets Home Opener on Sunday, April 3.
According to the site, the Royals will conduct a random drawing from eligible fans who completed the registration form by 11:59 p.m. CT on Friday, March 4. Other dates to note
Beginning Saturday, Feb. 27, single game tickets will be available by phone at 1-800-6ROYALS.
Beginning Monday, Feb. 29, single game tickets will also be available at the Kauffman Stadium Box Office and at 26 metro-area HyVee stores, including locations in Lawrence, Manhattan and Topeka, Kansas and St. Joseph, Missouri.
