KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Chiefs Kingdom brought a red wave to the streets and to social media for Wednesday's championship parade.

Fashion icon Travis Kelce, described by the mayor as "always colorful and interesting," donned the custom WWE championship beltfor the parade.

The Kansas City Chiefs shared a video that gave the fans a behind-the-scenes look at the celebration on one of the buses.

Their celebration also included Mahomes pouring beer on Kelce from the top of the bus.

Dustin Colquitt posted a picture with the other specialists arriving at the parade.

Of course, Patrick Mahomes couldn't give his arm a rest, even for the parade. The MVP threw a ball to a boy standing along the route.

The Crowd

Before the festivities got underway, a fan captured police officers having some fun running plays.

But police had to jump into action early in the day, when a driver broke through a barricade and let officers on a chase.
Luckily, they were able to stop the car before anyone was hurt.
Once the driver was in custody, police shifted their attention to the real focus of the day.
