It’s March and sports in Kansas City are gearing up for the 2016 season.
Sporting KC starts the MLS season on March 6.
A month from now, the Royals will return to the diamond to defend their crown.
Beginning on April 3, the seats in Kauffman will be alive again, filled with fans and excitement that greatly stems from the success of KC teams in 2015.
Bryndon Minter, a University of Missouri School of Journalism graduate, produced a video highlighting the accomplishments of the four professional teams in what he calls the most successful year in KC sporting history.
The Overland Park native is a big fan and enjoyed the 2015 achievements.
Fetty Wap becoming pals with the Royals was pretty cool to Minter, but said, “My favorite moment was the 8th inning of ALDS game against the Astros. I was in an interview and getting updates on my phone, consistently having to have the interviewer pause so I could check the game. I was able to run to the nearest bar to see the bottom of the ninth.”
