MIAMI — On game day, you want these guys down on the field.

The Chiefs Flag Warriors are an important part of the Kansas City Chiefs organization.

The Flag Warriors lead the team out of the tunnel before every home game, and four of the eight team members will be in Miami to lead the team out on Super Bowl Sunday.

Every game, Chiefs fans at Arrowhead Stadium watch the Flag Warriors sprint across the field after every Chiefs touchdown waving the team's flags.

This season, 10-year veteran Will Hill says they haven't had much time to rest their legs. He told 41 Action News he hopes it will be the same at Hard Rock Stadium.

“It’s a lot of running especially with this team now and the team last year, you know when you’re averaging 30-35 points per game, that’s a lot of running," Hill said.

Jason Claspill is a 9-year veteran of the team. He told 41 Action News they get paid to be there, but the work is nothing like an everyday job.

“We’re fans, this isn’t a job, we don’t do this for a living, we do it because we love the Chiefs," Claspill said.
