KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Chiefs season ticket members will have two chances to catch the reigning Super Bowl champions practice before training camp wraps up.
With a plan to allow fans in the stadium for games at 22% capacity approved, the Chiefs are also giving a maximum of 2,000 current season ticket members the chance to watch practice on Aug. 22 and a maximum of 5,000 season ticket members to watch practice on Aug. 29 at Arrowhead Stadium.
Season ticket members will be notified via email how to claim four tickets and a parking pass for the two practice events. Tickets must be used by a known guest and are not transferable.
Fans will be required to wear masks at both practices in accordance with policies and procedures outlined in the return-to-play guidelines announced Monday.
Both practices will begin at 9:15 a.m. and will finish around 11:30 a.m.
A new Super Bowl LIV championship flag will be raised above the west end zone next to the club’s Super Bowl IV title flag during the Aug. 29 practice.
Kansas City also will unveil a new championship banner at Arrowhead Stadium before the Chiefs’ season opener Sept. 10 against the Houston Texans in the NFL Kickoff Game.
Fans in attendance at each practice will receive a Chiefs-branded gift and a radio receiver earpiece, which will allow them to listen to a closed-circuit Chiefs Radio Network broadcast of practice.
Fans will not be allowed to bring any bags into the stadium to expedite the screening process, except medically necessary items placed in a clear plastic bag.
Fans also should pay careful attention to the dedicated entry points associated with their tickets.
Food and beverage options will be available, including some complimentary refreshments. All concession and retail transactions will be cashless.
Smoking, vaping and spitting are forbidden inside the stadium.
