KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Chiefs added to the defense again in the fifth round Saturday of the 2020 NFL Draft.

Kansas City used its last scheduled pick in the draft to nab Michigan defensive end Michael Danna.

Danna — a 6-foot-2 and 261-pound edge rusher, who transferred to the Wolverines after spending four years, including a redshirt season, at Central Michigan — totaled 38 tackles and three sacks last season with the Big Ten power.

During his last two seasons with the Chippewas, Danna racked up 23 tackles for a loss, including 13 1/2 sacks, in 25 games, and averaged 60 tackles in 2017 and 2018.
