BALTIMORE — In a game billed as quarterback vs quarterback, with the Chiefs receivers and the Ravens running backs getting second billing, Frank Clark knew what to expect.

"Any time I've played the Ravens since I've been in the league, whether it was in Seattle or down here the last two years, every game has been won up front," Clark said.

Sure enough, the Chiefs defensive line harassed Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson into four sacks and five QB hits. Clark himself had a sack and another tackle for loss.

"We had the task given to us at the beginning of the week," Clark said. "Just telling us that we needed to step it up."

They did, alright, and on the big stage of Monday Night Football. Jackson averaged more than 9 yards per rush but finished the game with less than 100 yards passing.

"We held them to, what? What did we give them, 13 or 10?" Clark said in reference to how many points the Chiefs defense allowed. "Any time you hold the league MVP to that much, you can say you're going to win the game."

It's the third time in as many seasons the Chiefs have bested the Ravens. In fact, of Lamar Jackson's four regular season losses, three of them have come at the hands of Kansas City.

"Against a team that I think is as well coached as any team in the league, I just thought it was a well-executed game from the Chiefs' standpoint," said Chiefs Head Coach Andy Reid, who won his 225th career game.

The Chiefs are 3-0 for the fourth-consecutive season.
