NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The 2019 NFL Draft starts on Thursday in Nashville, and Kansas City Chiefs fans are ready to go.

In a sea of NFL logos, a tiny Patrick Mahomes jersey stood out from the crowd on Wednesday.

Eight-year-old Trent Rose Jr. is from Cincinnati, Ohio, but he loves the Chiefs. When asked what his friends think about his choice in teams, he said, "Uhh ... I don’t care."

Trent's father, Trent Rose Sr., told 41 Action News that his son "loves football, so he likes Patrick Mahomes. He’s a good dude and I’m happy for him.”

Kevin Cullum, a Grandview native who calls Nashville home, said he was looking forward to seeing where Missouri quarterback Drew Lock lands.

“Actually, I am rooting for Drew," Cullum said. "His first cousin is my little brother from my fraternity at University of Central Missouri, so yeah, I’m rooting for him. It’s really exciting to see a local boy do that well."
