KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Chiefs aren’t playing this week, but they have still been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Wide receiver Mecole Hardman was been placed on the team’s reserve/COVID-19 list Wednesday afternoon, according to the NFL transaction report.

ESPN reporter Field Yates was the first to report Hardman's inclusion on the list.
Players designated for the list have either tested positive for COVID-19 or, as is more frequently the case, came into close contact with someone who has tested positive.
Hardman responded to well wishes on Twitter by saying he's "good."
I’m good for everyone asking. 🙏🏾

The most recent Chiefs player to be placed on the list was defensive tackle Chris Jones, who spent less than a day on the list last week.
The Chiefs also announced last Thursday that a staff member had tested positive for COVID-19.
Fullback Anthony Sherman missed three games — wins against Buffalo, Denver and the New York Jets — before returning from the reserve/COVID-19 list against Carolina on Sunday.
This is a developing story and may be updated.
