KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Need more proof Patrick Mahomes is better than Tom Brady?
Well, how about this? Mahomes, the third-year Kansas City Chiefs quarterback, wrested the title of top-selling NFL jersey from Brady, who won six Super Bowls with the New England Patriots before signing with Tampa Bay this offseason.
Barely two months after winning Super Bowl LIV, the NFL Player’s Association released its list of the 50 top-selling players. Mahomes, who won the NFL MVP in 2018 during his first season as a starter, tops the list.
Brady remains in second place followed by Baltimore quarterback Lamar Jackson, Dallas running back Ezekiel Elliott and Cleveland quarterback Baker Mayfield.
The data covered a time period between March 1, 2019 and Feb. 29, 2020.
One other Chiefs player, tight end Travis Kelce, cracked the top 50. He ranks No. 26.
