KANSAS CITY, Mo. — When the Kansas City Chiefs take to Arrowhead this coming Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts, it’ll be the first prime-time game of the year.

The team plans to take advantage of the night sky by encouraging fans to bring their smart phone and "light up Arrowhead."

In order to participate in the event, fans have to download the Chiefs’ app on their smartphone and allow the app to access the microphone.

Then, right before player introductions, the team plans a “fan-driven, smartphone light show.”

Fans not able to make it to the game can watch all the action starting with a special pregame show on 41 Action News at 5 p.m., followed by Football Night in America at 6 p.m. and then kickoff at 7:20 p.m.
