KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Chiefs General Manager Brett Veach, coach Andy Reid and the rest of the reigning Super Bowl champs are determined to Run It Back during the 2020 season.
There's no shortage of offensive weapons on Kansas City's roster led by former NFL MVP quarterback Patrick Mahomes.
Whether Mahomes, who signed the NFL's richest contract worth nearly $500 million during the offseason, decides to hand it off or throw it deep, he's got plenty of options in the Chiefs' arsenal from which to choose.
It could be tight end Travis Kelce, wide receiver Tyreek Hill or rookie running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire. Beginning on Sunday, it also could be newly signed running back Le'Veon Bell.
But during Kansas City's most recent win Monday at Buffalo, wide receiver Demarcus Robinson was the player who stepped in in the passing game.
Robinson sat down for an exclusive one-on-one Thursday with 41 Action News Sports Anchor Hayley Lewis.
With wide receiver Sammy Watkins was out due to a hamstring injury, Robinson led the Chiefs with five catches for 69 yards and played the second-most snaps he’s ever played in his NFL career.
Robinson, who is a tremendous blocker on the edge, discussed his performance against the Bills, his new haircut and the Chiefs' addition of Bell to an already stacked offensive lineup.
