KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- After helping lead Kansas State to the Elite 8, junior guard Barry Brown Jr. declared for the NBA draft Monday night. But he may still return to Manhattan.

Brown made the announcement on Twitter. He said, "I would like to start by thanking God for the opportunity and allowing me to be in the position I am in. After discussions with my family and coaching staff, I would like to declare for the 2018 NBA draft. In order to keep my college eligibility, I will not hire an agent. Thank you to all of the supporters of myself and the Wildcat nation."

This past season, Brown averaged 15.9 points per game.
