LAWRENCE, Kan. — It definitely wasn't the season the Jayhawks wanted on the football field. But that didn't stop a couple of individuals from earning postseason honors.
KU running back Pooka Williams, Jr. has been named to The Athletic's Freshman All-American Team. Williams rushed for over 1,000 yards and averaged more than 100 yards rushing per game.
Joe Dineen, Jr. is back on Sports Illustrated's All-American Team. He's a second-team selection. Dineen led all of FBS in solo tackles. He's a senior and his 391 career tackles rank him fourth in Jayhawk history.
