KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Philadelphia Eagles have requested to interview Chiefs Offensive Coordinator Eric Bieniemy, according to the NFL Network's Mike Garafolo.
The Eagles will have to wait to interview Bieniemy until the Chiefs season is complete. Teams were allowed to interview Bieniemy during the Chiefs bye week but that window closed when the wildcard weekend ended.
The Eagles elected to part ways with former Chiefs offensive coordinator Doug Pederson on Monday, less than three years removed from the franchise's only Super Bowl victory.

The Houston Texans also requested to interview Bieniemy earlier this week. Bieniemy previously interviewed with the Atlanta Falcons, Detroit Lions, Jacksonville Jaguars, Los Angeles Chargers and New York Jets during the Chiefs bye week.
The Falcons, Jaguars and Jets filled their head coaching vacancies earlier this week.
Bieniemy previously interviewed with the Carolina Panthers, Cincinnati Bengals, Cleveland Browns, Miami Dolphins, New York Giants, New York Jets and Tampa Bay Buccaneers the previous two seasons since being named offensive coordinator in 2018.
