KANSAS CITY, Mo. — It's the Midwest so Chiefs fans only politely pointed out Patrick Mahomes's unique voice over his past year-plus with the team.

But on football's biggest stage this week—Monday Night Football—Mahomes not only showcased his ability to the country, but also the words that come out of his mouth. And now the football nation is having fun with it.

"I've heard it since I was in 7th grade," said Mahomes. "It's something that I've kind of embraced."

That's definitely for the best when you grow up in clubhouses and locker rooms. And his current locker room is no different.

"The guys, Kelce, Tyreek and those guys throw some shots at me but don't worry I throw shots back."

Mahomes admitted in a postgame interview Monday night that it might be Andy Reid of all people that has the best impression of him.

"He's got a unique voice, right?" said Reid.

When asked how he would describe his QB's voice Reid said, "froggish."
