KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Kansas City Chiefs free agent cornerback Steven Nelson is on the move.
Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reported Tuesday that Nelson will sign a three-year deal with the Pittsburgh Steelers worth around $25.5 million.
Nelson spent four years in Kansas City, the first three without an interception. Nelson picked off four passes in 2018.
The move will be made official on Wednesday.
Elsewhere, the Chiefs were buyers with linebacker Damien Wilson. The former Cowboy was a part-time starter in Dallas but is expected to start in Kansas City's new 4-3 defense next to Reggie Ragland and Anthony Hitchens (another former Cowboy).
