KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The ink hasn't even dried on Chris Jones' new $85 million contract and the defensive tackle already is raking in more accolades.
The NFL has ranked Jones the 52nd best player in the league on its annual Top 100 list.
It's his second-straight Top 100 selection. Jones was ranked No. 36 in 2019.

Stone Cold's production did dip a bit from 2019 to 2020. Jones recorded nine sacks a year after getting to the quarterback 15.5 times.
But Jones starred in the fourth quarter of Super Bowl LIV, batting down three passes at the line of scrimmage.
Jones' d-line mate Frank Clark ranked No. 95 on the list. Four more Chiefs will be ranked in the Top 50.
