KANSAS CITY, Mo. — With a classical take on the Sunday Night Football theme, the Kansas City Symphony wished the Chiefs good luck ahead of Super Bowl LIV.
In a video posted to Facebook, the symphony performed John Williams’ “Wide Receiver,” also known as the SNF theme, under the direction of Michael Stern. Many of the musicians showed their pride by wearing Chiefs gear.
The performance also included a few “Go Chiefs” moments.
“Join us and spread the love. Kansas City is where it’s at — world-class all around,” the KC Symphony posted on Facebook.
Sunday Night Football airs during football season on NBC stations, including 41 Action News, and is regularly among the top-performing programs of the year based on Nielsen ratings.
