KANSAS CITY, Mo. — With MLB plans finalized and the 2020 baseball season set to begin next month, the Kansas City Royals shared a message Tuesday night with the team's fans.
The team posted a video on its social media channels featuring Bob Kendrick, of the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum, shortly after the MLB announcement.

Kendrick narrates the video, which touches on the coronavirus pandemic and the Black Lives Matter movement before discussing the return of baseball.
“Together, we’re always stronger because together, we’re always royal,” Kendrick said in the closing moments of the video.
