KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Travis Kelce is the latest Chief to get paid.
The perennial Pro Bowler inked a four-year contract extension worth up to $57 million Friday, keeping him in Kansas City long-term.

“We’ve got great guys in the locker room,” Kelce began. “Overall it’s a fun atmosphere every single time you come to work. Guys don’t want to leave that. Guys want to keep building on that."
Tight on cap flexibility, Kelce reportedly won’t see a true raise until 2021. Entering his eighth year in the league, the vet shrugged off any notion of leaving Kansas City for greener pastures.
“This community, Kansas City, I love you and I’m thankful I’m going to be here for the next six years,” Kelce finished.
