KMCI-TV, 38 The Spot, announced Wednesday that it has reached an agreement with Spectrum Sports Kansas City to simulcast eight University of Kansas basketball games this season beginning with the men’s game against South Dakota State on Friday, November 17 at 7:00 pm.
The Jayhawks men’s basketball team enters the 2017-18 season ranked as the nation’s No. 4/3 team in the two polls. Head coach Bill Self’s team will be looking for its 14th consecutive Big 12 title. The KU women’s team returns seven letter winners from a season ago and welcomes seven newcomers to the 2017-18 roster.
