KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The University of Kansas Jayhawks men’s basketball team released its revised 2020-21 schedule Monday, and with it, information about fans at Allen Fieldhouse.
The Jayhawks will tip-off their season on Dec. 1 against the Kentucky Wildcats in the Champions Classic. An exact time and location are still being worked out by school officials.
KU will start its home slate on Dec. 5 in hosting North Dakota State. As part of announcements made Monday, the university said roughly 1,500 fans will be allowed to attend home games this season. That represents nine percent of capacity at the stadium.
In total, KU will play 27 games as part of its schedule, and that’s before the Big 12 Men’s Basketball Tournament and any games in the NCAA Tournament.
KU will open Big 12 play on Dec. 17 at Texas Tech and will conclude conference play on Feb. 27 hosting Baylor.
