KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Kansas Jayhawks are looking to bounce back from their 84-59 loss to Texas on Saturday.

The margin of victory was the most by an opponent at Allen Fieldhouse since Missouri’s 91-66 victory on Feb. 1, 1989.

Kansas will face TCU on Tuesday.

“You can’t let one loss become two. That’s going to be a big part of it," senior forward Mitch Lightfoot said. "We got to understand what went into that loss and got to understand what it’s going to take for us to win."

TCU is on a five-game winning streak, most recently beating Kansas State 67-60.

"I think whenever you get your butts handed to you, you usually come in ready to fight and grind a little bit more,” head coach Bill Self said. “If you can’t recover from this, we’re the softest group of all time.”

The Jayhawks are 97-13 following a loss in the Bill Self era.
