KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The leading scorer on this year’s Kansas Jayhawks announced Monday he’s taking his talent to the NBA.
In a Tweet posted before 10 a.m., junior forward Dedric Lawson said he is declaring for the NBA draft.

Lawson transferred to KU for his junior season, in which he led the team in scoring with 19.4 points per game, and led the team in rebounds with 10.3 rebounds per game.
He was named the Big 12 Newcomer of the Year and earned All Big 12 first-team honors.
