KANSAS CITY, Mo. — They had opponents. They had venues. Now they have times, well, for some games.
KU, K-State, and Missouri all set some early-season game times on Thursday.
For the Tigers, they open up at Wyoming on August 31 and 6:30 PM. That game is followed by an 11 AM battle the next Saturday at home against West Virginia and then another 6:30 PM kickoff with Southeast Missouri State in Columbia September 14. Mizzou's season finale with Arkansas is also scheduled. It will start at 1:30 PM Friday, November 30.
Over in Manhattan, Kansas State opens at home with Nicholls. That game will kick off at 6 PM on August 31. Bowling Green comes to KSU the next Saturday for an 11 AM kick. Same time (11 AM) for the Wildcats first big game of the season the next weekend: at Mississippi State.
And Kansas opens with two games at home: August 31 vs Indiana State at 11 AM, September 7 vs Coastal Carolina at 6 PM. The Jayhawks then go to Boston College on Friday September 13 for a date with the Golden Eagles at 6:30 PM.
Most of the teams' conference game times will be announced in-season in the week or two leading up to the contests.
