KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes' foot surgery reportedly went well Wednesday, sources say.
NFL networks Ian Rapoport tweeted Thursday that the surgery had no issues and the young football star will start rehab.

The surgery was necessary to repair a torn plantar plate, also known as a "turf toe" injury.
The injury happened during the playoff game against the Cleveland Browns and Mahomes played through it for the AFC Championship and the Super Bowl.
