KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Kansas City, Missouri, Mayor Quinton Lucas has challenged San Francisco Mayor London Breed to a friendly Super Bowl wager.
The two cities' teams will face off Sunday in Super Bowl LIV on neutral territory in Miami.
Lucas posted a video Thursday on Twitter issuing the challenge.
Hey, @LondonBreed: you’re on! When our Kansas City @Chiefs win the Super Bowl this weekend, you’ve gotta come try some @GatesBBQ for yourself. Looking forward to meeting you soon in person! #ChiefsKingdom pic.twitter.com/bpLufbDrYQ

If the 49ers win (and Lucas doesn't think they will), then the mayor will be hand-delivering Gates Bar-B-Q, Boulevard beer, Made in KC merchandise and Charlie Hustle shirts to San Francisco.
If the Chiefs win, Breed is invited to Kansas City to try some famous barbecue in person.
But, like Lucas said, we shouldn't have to worry about a trip to 49ers territory after the game.
