KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The University of Missouri men's basketball team will not play its game against Prairie View A&M, the team announced Thursday.
The team cited COVID-19 issues within the Panthers' program, though no specific details were released. The game will not be rescheduled.
The No. 16 ranked Tigers were slated to take on the Panthers on Friday.
Now the team will next face off against the Bradley University Braves on Tuesday, Dec. 22, at Mizzou Arena in Columbia, Missouri.
The Tigers will then play in a top 25 match against the No. 10 University of Tennessee Volunteers on Wednesday, Dec. 30, in Columbia.
