KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Missouri opens the Eli Drinkwitz era against Alabama at Memorial Stadium in Columbia.

The Tigers weren’t scheduled to play the perennial national championship contending Crimson Tide in 2020 until the SEC moved to a 10-game conference-only schedule earlier this month.

The other game added to Mizzou’s schedule was a battle at reigning national champion LSU, which will be played Oct. 10 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

In between, the Tigers travel to Tennessee for a game Oct. 3.

The rest of October features home games against Vanderbilt (Oct. 17) and Kentucky (Oct. 31), sandwiched around a trip to play Florida on Oct. 24 in The Swamp in Gainesville, Florida.

After six straight weeks, Drinkwitz and the Tigers finally get a chance to rest and reset on Nov. 7, but the reigning SEC East champions from Georgia await on the other side of the break Nov. 14.

Missouri closes out the regular season with two of three on the road Nov. 21 at South Carolina and Dec. 5 at Mississippi State sandwiched around a Nov. 28 home game against Arkansas.

The Battle Line Rivalry game with the Razorbacks won't be at Arrowhead Stadium, but it will remain on the weekend after Thanksgiving.
