KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The University of Missouri football team is set to have a showdown against the defending national champion Louisiana State University Tigers, the team announced late Friday afternoon.

The Tigers will travel to face LSU in Baton Rouge.
Other notable match-ups include a game against the University of Alabama's Crimson Tide.
The new additions to the schedule come after the Southeastern Conference announced it would only play in-conference games for the 2020 season.
The Tigers will also hit the road to play the the University of South Carolina, University of Tennessee, Mississippi State University and University of Florida.
Opponents traveling to Columbia, Missouri to play at Memorial Stadium include:
- Vanderbilt University
- University of Georgia
- University of Kentucky
- University of Arkansas
The team has yet to announce dates for the games.
