NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Thirty-two picks came and went without quarterback Drew Lock hearing his name called Thursday night in the first round of the 2019 NFL Draft in Nashville.

Lock was one of 22 players who personally attended the Draft. Just five remain in the Green Room after Thursday's selections.

Denver and Oakland, two AFC West rivals of the Chiefs, were rumored to have interest in lock, but with four picks between them, neither took a quarterback.

Three quarterbacks were taken in the first round with Oklahoma's Kyler Murray going #1 overall. Daniel Jones of Duke went to the Giants and Dwayne Haskins of Ohio State went to the Redskins.

Lock, a Lee's Summit native and four-year starter at Mizzou, will likely hear his name called early in the second round, which starts Friday at 6 PM Central.
