KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The wacky play names continue to leak out of the Kansas City Chiefs practice facility and the latest ones, might make you hungry.
Chiefs Offensive Coordinator Eric Bieniemy, talked about Patrick Mahomes’ 5-yard underhanded touchdown pass to fullback Anthony Sherman in Monday night’s win over the Baltimore Ravens.
The name of the play? 'Smoked sausage.'
Aptly named after Sherman’s nickname, "the Sausage," fans rejoiced online after another exotic offensive play led to a win for Kansas City.
