LAWERENCE, Kan. — Could there be a new left-handed quarterback coming to the University of Kansas football team?
Not really, but Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series driver Ricky Stenhouse, Jr. was impressive Wednesday at Memorial Stadium.

Stenhouse got a chance to go through several drills with the KU coaching staff and even beat out head coach David Beaty in a friendly passing competition.
Just a quick pit stop before next month's race at Kansas Super Speedway.
"It opens the doors to be in KU's stadium throwing the football around, doing cool things like that to promote our Kansas Race on May 12," said Stenhouse "It's really cool to get to do opportunities like this. I love all sports."
