KANSAS CITY, Mo. — After several days of negotiations, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell announced early Friday evening that team training camps will begin as scheduled.
The move comes after the National Football League Players Association signed off on a series of protocols related to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
“The NFL clubs and the NFL Players Association approved an agreement that broadly resolves all outstanding issues relating to the opening of training camps and start of the 2020 season,” Goodell said in a statement. “Training camps will begin as scheduled.”

Earlier this week, Kansas City Chiefs rookies reported in for COVID-19 testing. Veteran players will reportedly report for their testing this weekend.
Earlier this month, the Chiefs announced that Training Camp would be held at Arrowhead Stadium instead of the team’s normal training camp home at Missouri Western State University in St. Joseph.
