KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Fresh off an 11-day COVID-19 imposed pause, the Missouri Tigers tacked on another conference road win.
Head coach Counzo Martin’s team blitzed Texas A&M in the second half Saturday, outscoring the Aggies 41 to 28 en route to their second SEC win.
"Taking a week off, it could have been bad," started guard Javon Pickett. "But for us, I feel like we we did a good job with it and making sure that we would prepared.”

Senior Mark Smith paced the team in scoring, dialing up 15 points on 6-13 shooting. Big man Jeremiah Tilmon also helped stabilize the Tigers offensively, pouring in 14 points on the way to his third double-double of the season.
Martin lauded his Senior center postgame, calling him 'no question' the best player on the floor.
“Just happy the way he’s playing...the pace, the poise, the maturity," Martin told reporters via Zoom. "Makes you feel proud as a coach because he's made progress every year he's starting to see his hard work pay off.”
