KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The University of Missouri men’s basketball game against Kentucky has been postponed one day, the school announced Monday.

The Tigers, who dropped six spots to No. 18 in the latest Associated Press men’s basketball poll, were slated to host the Wildcats on Tuesday.

Kentucky basketball was forced to pause all team activities last weekend, per the Southeastern Conference’s COVID-19 protocols. It’s Big 12/SEC Challenge game against Texas was canceled.

Mizzou (11-3, 4-3 SEC) will host Kentucky (5-10, 4-4 SEC) at 6 p.m. on Wednesday at Mizzou Arena in Columbia. The game will be televised on ESPN2.

The Tigers are coming off a comeback, overtime win Saturday against TCU and looking to get back on track in conference play after a loss last week at Auburn.

After getting blown out by Tennessee in the Big 12/SEC Challenge, Kansas (11-6, 5-4 Big 12) slipped eight spots to No. 23 in the AP ranking, the Jayhawks’ lowest ranking since the 2008-09 season.

Gonzaga, Baylor, Villanova and Michigan remained the top four teams in this week’s poll, while Texas slipped on spot to No. 6.

Oklahoma, which ended Alabama’s 10-game game win streak Saturday, made the largest jump of the week from No. 24 to No. 9. The Crimson Tide dropped one spot to 10th followed by Tennessee, Illinois and Texas Tech.

Creighton checked in 15th with West Virginia 17th and Florida 22nd in Monday's ranking.
