KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes has been named one of TIME Magazine’s 100 most influential people of 2020.
The Super Bowl champion was praised for “his combination of athleticism, creativity and vision” in a piece authored by Derek Jeter.
Jeter also highlighted Mahomes’ commitment to the team and his work ethic, noting “the hours of practice and studying he puts in to be the best he can be.”
Mahomes also made the list thanks to his leadership skills and the legacy he’s already begun to build off the field.
