KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Chiefs offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy’s days in Kansas City are numbered.

That's according to Chiefs coach Andy Reid, who threw his support behind EB’s upcoming head coaching interviews during his typical Monday press conference.

“He’s ready to make the move,” Reid said on the Zoom call. "I have not seen many guys that are as great a leader of men as he is."

Maybe the third time’s the charm for EB, who has been a popular name in the league’s coaching carousel since coming to Kansas City in 2018.

The former University of Colorado running back and eight-year NFL veteran will reportedly interview with the Falcons, Jets and Lions this week for their respective head coaching vacancies.

“I think he's top notch,” Reid said. “You're never gonna have to worry about Eric Bieniemy ... never on the field, [never] off the field."

New league policies require all job interviews to be conducted virtually this season.
