KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The 2020 AFC West race is rounding the final turn.
The Kansas City Chiefs all but assure themselves a fifth straight division title with a win over the Denver Broncos Sunday, a game you can watch on 41 Action News.
Kansas City has beaten up on the Broncos since 2015, winning 10 straight over the rival. Speaking with the media Friday, Reid dispelled any notion of previous match-ups bringing juice to Sunday's game.
“We don't talk about what happened in the past,” Reid said via Zoom. “It doesn’t matter in this league,” he said. “We don't really don't talk too much about [the streak] other than we respect the ability of that football team.”
Denver last beat KC September 17, 2015.

An 11th consecutive win over the Broncos paired with a Raiders loss hands the Chiefs the 2020 division throne.
Reid assured the media his team is on high alert to avoid a December let-down.
“It’s a great organization, they've been successful for a number of years, they’ve got a good head football coach, and they’ve got good assistant coaches, and they've got good players,” he said.
