The #Chiefs are giving OL Kelechi Osemele a 1-year deal worth $2M max, source said. After a truncated year with the #Jets, he’s healthy and fills the void left by Laurent Duvernay-Tardif, who opted out.

Osemele is an eight-year veteran who went to two Pro Bowls and was first-team All-Pro in 2016. He spent his first four seasons with the Baltimore Ravens and the next season three years with the Oakland Raiders.
He was traded to the New York Jets in 2019, but was released in October after he decided to have surgery on his right shoulder to repair a torn labrum without the team's approval.
Osemele could compete for a guard position on the Chiefs offensive line. He has started 80 of his 96 career games at left guard.
