INDIANAPOLIS — Justin Houston has landed with an NFL team and a familiar face.
ESPN is reporting the free agent outside linebacker will sign a two-year, $24-million deal with the Indianapolis Colts. Former Chiefs staffer Chris Ballard is the general manager of the Colts.
The Chiefs released Houston earlier this month as a cost-cutting move. The club will save more than $15-million in salary cap space.
Houston spent all eight years of his career in Kansas City, recording a career-high 22 sacks in 2014.
