KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Kansas City Chiefs fans are dedicated when it comes to the team. Some skip work to tailgate, some cut their hair like Patrick Mahomes and others will drive hours to see a game.
Barry and Stuart Janzen are die-hard Chiefs fans who live in Canada. They have followed the team for more than 15 years. The brothers were season tickets holders for many years, so they are regulars when it comes to tailgating at Arrowhead.
But, the two have not been able to attend a game this year because of the pandemic. They usually drive but right now, the border is closed.
"When we live 2,000 miles apart from each other. So we're not flying over the same place. So each one of us takes a separate flight and part of our whole KC routine is the road trip and the camaraderie with each other. And all the adventures and misadventures and even staying with our pals, we wouldn't be able to do that," Barry Janzen said.
Besides missing going to a game, Stuart misses the burnt ends and Barry misses the life-long friends they have made.
