KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Chiefs Kingdom extends beyond the Kansas City metro. In fact, we’ve got a whole map showing you fans from all over the world.

Turns out, Florida is home for quite a few of them. Dana Roseberry created the Kansas City Chiefs Fan Club of Southwest Florida in 1994. Not only is she a major Chiefs fan, she also has a connection to 41 Action News.

“I hated being in front of a camera. I wanted to be a director so I went to Pittsburg, Kansas, got 10 months of directing experience there and got hired at KSHB as a producer/director,” Roseberry said. “It was so much fun working there. I really, really enjoyed it.”

Now, she directs the fan club, which has more than 500 members and more than 1,300 followers on Facebook.

“I have made some lifelong friends in this club,” Roseberry said. “We have such a good time together.”

They’ve traveled to games, hosted watch parties before the COVID-19 pandemic and enjoyed watching Chiefs football every Sunday in Southwest Florida.
