KANSAS CITY, Mo. — According to the NFL's transaction report, the Kansas City Chiefs have placed defensive end Mike Danna on the team's reserve/COVID-19 list.

Players on this list haven't necessarily tested positive for the virus. The list is also reserved for those who have been in close contact with someone with the virus, the result of contact tracing.

If a player has not tested positive and is deemed to have had close contact, he must remain on the list for five days with no positive tests.

The Chiefs have at least 10 days until their next game, when they host an opponent to-be-determined later in the Divisional Round at Arrowhead Stadium.

Danna has 25 tackles, 2.5 sacks, and 5 tackles for loss in his rookie season.

Chiefs strength and conditioning coach Barry Rubin tested positive for the virus on Tuesday.
